The story
This cover of Roger Clyne’s Green & Dumb was recorded in Wellington, Kansas, at Greenjeans Studios in July 2021. The Aaron Traffas Band wanted to record a cover song with friends Rob Spectre and Lucas Maddy and it didn’t take long to settle on this special song by one of our favorite artists. We’ve loved this song since Rob first taught Aaron how to play it in 2002 after Rob saw Roger Clyne play live and had some drinks with him after the show. It’s been one of our favorite cover songs to play for the last 20 years, and it made sense to take it to Carter Green at Greenjeans to document the ton of fun we had making this tribute to an absolutely amazing song!
